Korean Party: Dwenjang Guk Recipe (Soybean Paste Soup)

Yield: 2-3 servings


1 Onion
7 Anchovies (cleaned, intestines removed)
2 Tbsp Garlic
1 Potato
3 Tbsp Soybean Paste
Spring onions/ green onions

1. Prepare a pot of water. Cook on high heat
2. Chop up potato, onion, garlic and add  in the pot with the anchovies.
3. Let it boil for 15 mins. Check water level, ingredients will be still covered with water, if not just add water in.
4. Add 3 tbsp soybean paste, and taste. If it's not thick enough, add in another 1/2 tbs soybean paste and bit salt.
5. Add in chopped spring onions/ green onions, and serve with rice.
